As far as I can see, I'm having this same issue as the closed thread Redirecting The only things I can add is that, say the app is notepad, if I delete all .txt files in the directory, all is good again, but for the first new save as only. When the dialog locks, the window showing the contents of the target directory shows only "working on it". With a different app, I could unlock the freeze (the app has to restart) by deleting the most recent saved as file. I have
