There's a website that keeps having an "Error Code: Out of memory"

Almost every day, I visit Baseball-Reference.com and Stathead.com, which are run by the same company. But just a few days ago, I became unable to look at pages on these websites for more than a few seconds before they crashed with an "Error Code: Out of memory" message. For years I have been able to keep several tabs of these websites open without any issues, but now all of a sudden they're using up so much memory! Restarting my laptop, switching from Chrome to Edge, and clearing the browser history have done nothing.What could have happened to make this a problem all of a sudden? How do I fix
