I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 & now everything is F*up, Can this be fixed or should I go back?

I downloaded the media creation tool & then downloaded Windows 10 from the Microsoft site & now... boot time is 4+minutes, internet access is problematic, and my keyboard & screen freeze regularly. For some reason Chrome says it is running Vista 8. My laptop has a Pentium P3 and plenty of RAM. I did not do a 'clean install'. Would it be better to dump everything & start over?
