Volume from various games/apps muted when in a voice call. I’ve disabled telecom mode and still have issues

Hello! I’ve been struggling to get voice chat working in games without it muting my game. I’ve disabled telecom mode which seems to be the most common problem people face. It will disable things like Spotify too. I am using an 3.5mm headset.
