windows 10 .jar files not running

In Windows 10, I'm trying to upgrade the firmware for my Celestron Telescope controller. The Celestron Firmware Manager software comes as a .jar file. How can I run this program? When I launch it, Windows asks "How do you want to run this file?" and nothing seems to work.
