)So this problem started today:I have a headset with attached mic. The headset is connected to the computer via 2 3.5mm plugs, one for the sound, one for the mic as it is normally.When I plug in the sound cable, the headset works fine. I can listen to music/videos etc without an issue.However, as soon as I plug in my mic via cable, the headset makes an incredibly loud static sound that I cannot turn off unless I unplug the microphone again.
