My monitor doesnt turn on when I reboot into Safe Mode

I'm trying to install a new graphics card into my PC, but before I even do anything, I'd like to reboot my PC in safe mode to uninstall the driver for the old graphics card. I've tried rebooting to safe mode two different ways, but both methods results in my monitor not turning on/being recognised by my PC.Please help Edit: I've tried with two monitors and both DP and HDMI-cables and nothing works. I think my PC is stuck in Safe Mode so I cant really do anything.
