I'm asking this for my partner, who I'm not physically with to be specific. Just today, her laptop went to sleep after she went idle for a period of time, and when it woke up, it was in the middle of updating. After the restart, whenever she tries to log in and use it after the startup, the screen freezes before it goes to the blue error screen. The window of time is so short she hasn't been able to take or send me a screenshot of the problem before it restarts.So far, she has tried;- uninstalling the most recent update from settings (it says the last update was 6 days ago rather than the one
