It is posible to make Fibocom L860-LG on other devices then the official ones on windows 10?

I have tried on 3 different laptops (Dell Latitude E6420, Asus Tuf FX505DY, Lenovo IdeaPad 3) none of the the laptops have m.2 b key port so i connect the modem with a usb 3.0 to m.2 adapter , on device manager and other panel it seems ok but i can't connect to it.Another thing that i have tried is to flash a new firmware but i don't know how (see photos)Does anyone has an idea if this is even posible.
