Ever since a recent update my PC (HP Pavilion 550-153wb nothing replaced) would turn off in sleep mode. Yesterday it turned off and didn't turn on for a while. When it turned back on it went into repair mode, restarted, went into repair mode, restarted, went into repair mode, then shut down.Since then it sometimes tries to turn on, starts the fans, gets to the HP logo, then just gives up. The green light on the back is on, so it's getting power, and the fans do start but may only run for about 3-5 seconds. And that is if the power button actually works.I've tried everything on the HP site and
