I am using a Lenovo Laptop running on Windows 10 that is connected to two printers, a Brother printer and an HP printer. The print dialog box indicates the correct status of the Brother printer (whether it is "Ready" or "Offline"). However, the HP printer is always shown as being "Ready", even when it is turned off. It is an HP Officejet Pro 8600 All-in-One printer. It also incorrectly indicates it is "Ready" to fax, when it is turned off and clearly NOT ready to fax.I couldn't find anyone that has posted on this specific question, but did find posts for the situation where a computer "thinks"
