Will resetting my pc with data erasure Off, require me to logon to my microsoft account again?

Hello I am looking to reset my pc, because off performance problems. I have already tried to reset my pc once, it was not really a succes. I was scared to completely reset my pc because, i wasnt sure about the email and password for the microsoft account im using right now. But i was wondering if i reset my pc with data erasure Off, do i then still have to logon to my microsoft account? If i have to do that, can i then logon to another microsoft account without losing my windows system?
