2 hard as hell questions about search and uninstall

1 I have VLC 12 and VLC 11 in a folder on my Windows 10 desktop. However, when I search for VLC in the bottom-left corner search bar, I can only find VLC 11. I'm wondering why I was able to search for both VLC 11 and VLC 12 earlier, but now I can only find VLC 11 2When I uninstall a program (e.g., CCleaner), the User Account Control prompt displays "Verified Publisher" as Microsoft Windows, even though they are not Microsoft programs.
