I have 2 computers, both homebuilt, one is my HTPC running Win 10 Pro, the other is a Linux Mint 20 desktop. I travel when working and stay in AirBnB's. I have a Netgear Nighthawk dual-band wireless adapter which I connect USB to the HTPC. I then run a Cat 6 cable between the 2 or use a switch & 2 cables. All the adapters are at default. For a long time, this worked fine without doing anything. Then I moved to another location and it stopped working. What made it work again was the Internet Connection Sharing tab, and checking and unchecking the 2 check boxes. With everything set to DHCP t
