Audio cuts off for a couple of seconds when starting or closing fullscreen games or alt tabbing in or out of them.

As in the title, the audio on my pc cuts off for a couple of seconds in the process of either alt tabbing from or into a fullscreen game or whenever launching or closing said games. This happens with multiple games. I have already tried reinstalling the audio drivers and using different audio devices. The issue seems to lie with some property of fullscreen games, as no windowed or borderless windowed mode causes such an issue, nor does it happen with other applications going fullscreen, like browsers (I tried with youtube videos) or video playback apps like windows media player or vlc.In case
