My hp laptop was connected to the tv through hdmi while I was playing a little game on it, power went off and so did the tv but on my laptop screen it was different. Half of the screen was purple while the other half was normal. I don't know what caused it given that this laptop is just a little over 2 years old and has never fallen before. My drivers are up to date and my CPU cannot overclock so its neither of those issues. I want to know if this is something I can resolve by myself before I take it to a technician so any solution is much appreciated
