Is it possible to move backup sets, Windows 10 64?

I've added a USB external drive and wish to collect several users' backup data sets onto an extendable "Storage Space" called Backup. I wish to create the Storage space starting with this new drive, move the backup data freeing the original backup drives, and then add them to the newly created Storage Space. Any tips on how to proceed?
