I have a dedicated collar mic I have been using so the issue is whenever I plug my microphone directly to the port windows picks it up as a device but no input is taken, but if I use a splitter aur plug my mic through it mic works fine the problem is my splitter suddenly stopped working so I cannot use my microphone and now I am wondering just out of curiosity is this a driver issue or a hardware issue, that windows does not take input if I plug my mic directly as for the mic I have tested it in my phone and it works fine without a splitter
