unexpected random shutdowns

recently I've changed the thermal paste for my laptop (i710750H rtx2060) and suddenly after changing the thermal paste the cpu frequency now goes as high as 4122mhz although its previous max was 3489...anyway regardless of this change I've been getting random blue screens and the device restarts since, it doesn't happen very often but enough to where its annoying any idea why or if there is a way to fix this???
