Many users have experienced a situation where their JPG shortcuts show up as Blue Mountain icons rather than the actual thumbnails they are connected to.I have solved this solution and posting this so that the Microsoft Engineers can pass this along to other forum users and Microsoft devs as another solution. The problem:Windows 10 shockingly cannot open more than 1 file at a time for certain file types such as images and videos. So if you try to resolve this issue manually you need to open 1 by 1 each affected JPG shortcut to restore it's connection. This is not practical - I actually did not
