I had this external hard drive for a while and it worked fine. But then it just stopped detecting and showing up even in disk management. When I plug it in a laptop it shows up fine, even in windows explorer and everything is in order. It even shows up in my TV. But when I plug it in my PC, nope, it starts beeping for a few seconds and goes silent. It doesn't show up in the explorer, but shows up as an uninitialized disk drive which I can't initialize (Error, The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error).
