WDefender wants antivirus on. Can't do it???

Trying almost all suggestions Wdefender want's antivirus turned on. Nothing works yet. Saying get your IT. When I go to the settings of Windows Defender it reports no issues. I've tried, I guess, all the solutions I can find. I loaded group editor but it doesn't show what one suggestion said does turn on Anti-Virus there? Thanking you in advance. jack ":-Dx
