Can the Microsoft Administration change a current landline number to a mobile, so text security can be used?

I am simply wondering if Microsoft Administrators can edit in a mobile number to replace a current landline number, so that text security can become workable?I have a friend with a Bitlocker key being requested but signing in to her account on another device gives her security telephone number in her account as her landline, which cannot be used to verify and thus obtain the key.So, is my initial question workable?My friend has two other Microsoft accounts, but these are secured with her mobile number, which is fine.I am wondering if she substitutes her landline phone unit with a model that ac
