Windows 10 in-place repair

Hi allTrust you are all well.I am noticing troubles with my Windows 10 system and I want to try and in-place upgrade before trying a clean install of Windows 10.My questions are as follows:1 - Is this process safe? Is there a risk that I will lose the ability to work on my laptop? This is a work laptop, so I am scared that my programmes will stop working after doing the repair2 - Does the in place upgrade/repair fix my system files? 3 - Any tips when performing this upgrade will be greatly appreciated!Thanks !
