My Win 10 HD crashed, had to reinstall Win 7 DVD, want to get Win 10 re-installed

My HD crashed, I'd been using win 10 for years after upgrading but now had to re-install Win 7 from the disc that came with this Dell XPS 8500. Having succeeded with that I can't get Win 10 to install over it again.
