Xbox gamebar does not record audio from all apps

I often use the Xbox gamebar's "instant replay" feature to record 30 second clips of my games when I am playing with my friends. Currently, the app works mostly fine when recording just my microphone. However, most of the fun comes from hearing what me and my friends are saying while I play, and hearing just one side of the conversation isn't very good. We use Discord to talk to each other.I learned that you can set the gamebar to record "All" (apps, mic, system, and game) in the audio settings, but when I select it, it doesn't actually change anything.
