Clicking the search bar redirects me to "My Feed". Why?

Right clicking the taskbar allows you to enable the search bar. Clicking on this search bar used to allow the user to look for programs on the computer or search the internet by typing something in. Now, clicking the search bar redirects to "my feed", which is incredibly useless and is not what I want to happen when I click on a search bar. There seems to be no ability to search my computer from there, so I have to navigate to my programs through my file explorer.
