I have software that ran on Windows 7 that will not install in Windows 10, even when set for Windows 7 emulation.

I have a soft ware program that I have used for a long time on a windows 7 (SP2) computer. When I upgraded that computer from Win7 to Win 10 the program continued to work. However that computer is 15 years old and is very slow. My newest laptop runs Windows 10, but will not install this prgram, even whe set for Windows 7 mode. I've also tried every other mode available including XP, Vista and Windows 8.The software also runs on an old Windows 7 Starter netbook.The software developer no longer supports this software.
