Keep generating an OFFSYM.TTF folder when I copy the Windows/Fonts folder. Anyone know why?

The software I'm running all of a sudden stopped when it accessed the Windows/Fonts folder. The software developer says that there is a corrupt font. He wanted me to zip up my Fonts folder and see if he can identify the corrupt font. I copied the Fonts folder onto my desktop and noticed a folder had been generated. Apparently when the software I'm running starts up, it accesses the Windows/Fonts folder and loads all the fonts with extensions ttf and otf. It thinks the folder that is being generated when it accesses the fonts, is a font since it has .TTF in name. Can't seem to get past th
