how to fix search functionility in windows

my profile and profile folder have a space in it "xxxx yyyy", I wanted to rename the profile to "xxxx", I just edited the profile folder name in the registry, but then went back to the old name, now the bar search and content search aren't working, but when I use a username and change the profile folder to a name without spaces, they work, I want to return to the old name "xxxx yyyy", how can I fix it or how can I revert
