I have links i would rather use instead of the search browser. I also have folders and pdf files. None of the available icon images fit the description of my files. For example, I have loads of information relating to finding rocks or geology. There is a globe image that i already have for Google earth. In addition, i have other subjects that do not relate to available icons. So, i was wondering if there was a way to convert an image to an Icon that relates to my needs. I am sure you have an answer somewhere but i cannot find and answer for windows 10 or any other windows version. So,
