I recently bought a Samsung T7 4tb external drive, and quick formatted it to NTFS as recommended. I restored files from a previous drive that had died (it took eight hours!). Using Explorer, I can navigate the folders, find, and open files. Explorer will not search, though. Several times, I've searched for a phrase, and the search ran for literally hours, showing "working on it" but finding nothing. I spent an hour on the phone with a Samsung rep. He found no solution, but suggested I try the drive on another computer. I plugged it into another Windows computer, and the same thing happened. Th
