Call !

Hi again, just a little confused about "calling" someone from Laptop! I opened the "New Outlook" app this morning. Within the app I opened "People" and browsed through some of my contacts etc. I noticed it said "Call" and just wondered what would happen if I pressed it! I have never tried to contact anyone within my computer. It is normally just emailing, I use my mobile and house phone normally. It just crossed my mind how it would work and of course the cost! Maybe a silly question but thought I would ask!!Brian
