I recently picked up an old laptop from my workplace for my kid to use for homework etc (Lenovo ThinkPad X270). When trying to reinstall Windows, I wasn't able to boot from a USB as I don't have the BIOS/supervisor password to enable this option (and there seems to be no record of the device or the old passwords they used). Therefore I just ran a Windows installer on the machine (as an admin) and reinstalled a clean version - unfortunately, Windows seems to default back to its' original install version - in my case, Enterprise.Is there way of installing Win 10 Home without a bootable USB?
