HunterSpider V4 Headset Mic Not Working on Acer Laptop

Hello, I have a HunterSpider V4 wired headset, the speakers are great but I can’t get the microphone to work. I’ve tried almost everything I’ve seen on the internet and it my PC still doesn’t detect that there’s even a headset with a mic connected and just uses the external built in mic, which doesn’t sound very good. There’s no other ports to plug in my headset and I’ve tried pretty much everything in audio and mic settings. Please help!
