The new app is unnecessarily bloated. I would estimate it takes roughly 3x longer to load. I have reset my windows installation a few days ago and was presented with the option to try the new app; one post mentioned a button at the top to revert, but that is now outdated, and I cannot access the old app.Mind you, it takes 3x longer on a Ryzen 5 5500 and 1050 TI with a Samsung 870 EVO. Is there a way to revert to the old app, or is MS hellbent on forcing people on a budget to buy new equipment they wouldn't need to buy otherwise?
