Problem with 4:3 gameplay

Hello, I was playing on my laptop cs go everyday while having 4:3 resolution, when i got my monitor i can't make 4:3 anymore without black borders on my screen, i dont know what to honestly do so i came here to ask someone. My monitor is dell P2214H if it helps. P.S It only doesnt work in games only because when i set 1440x1080 as a monitor resolution its working perfectly. Hope somoene respond ASAP
