Where I can get the bitlocker recovery key for my lkaptop?

My laptop requires a bitlocker key. However I don't have the bitlocker recovery key on my Microsoft account. How can I get it? When I click on the "View bitlocker key" button there is not any bitlocker key. Now I don't know how to start my laptop, it is frozen asking for the key.
