Windows 10 registry update test

I'm attempting to change the size/height of my title bars on a recently purchased refurbished machine without it effecting the font.On my old win10 machine (recently deceased) I accomplished this easily through the registry, but it takes a lot of trial and error.Is there a way to update the registry without having to constantly reboot the machine?
