I am using hard disk casing of lapcare having usb 3.0 but in my laptop the hd is detected in usb 2.0 but not in usb 3.0

I am using hard disk casing of lapcare having usb 3.0 but in my laptop the hd is detected in usb 2.0 but not in usb 3.0Also if i use casing in place of dvd writer the ssd is detected but my hard disk is not detected there..
