I worked on my neighbors new 2017 HP laptop. After reseting now the batter is not being reconized.

My neighbor found out that I worked on computers and asked me for help with her new then 2017 HP laptop. Seems that when she bought it, her room mate friend set it up for them but then somehow didn't put in the correct username and they couldn't sign back in to it, this was 6 years ago it has sat. I tried several password she had thought of and ended up using HIRENS Boot to get in. It was so far behind in updated so I reset it back to a date in 2017 and it still was having some issues so I reset it back to factory and deleted everything. I noticed now the battery is not being reconized. I have
