Can't access filed

- quick ? My husband has an HP laptop about 10yrs old it froze yesterday trying to log on, received " internal battery" message now he can't sign on. He bought a brand new HP laptop and now trying to figure out how to get his scan folder off old laptop? It's a new Windows11 program can we find all his previous scans on his priner/ scanner/ fax? It's a business printer( his own) I set up new laptop w/ apps he uses( finance) but he's freaking out over his files. Ty Reply Edit
