Just installed Windows 10 updates. Now my login screen is extremely laggy and I only get one frame per five seconds. How to fix?

I bought an HP Desktop computer with Windows 11 preinstalled. I’m not a big fan of Windows 11’s stability and immediately installed Windows 10 Home on that computer. Everything worked out for the first few months, but then, suddenly, after installing Windows updates like I always do, my login screen got very laggy. In fact, it got so laggy that it looked like my monitor was displaying images at less than one frame per five seconds. I searched for solutions on the internet but couldn’t find anything. I decided to just reinstall Windows and disable updates. This has worked out for the last month
