My desktop PC is desperately slow starting up despite using an optimiser from time to time. I've just been reading about the multitude of scvhost.exe I can see on the system monitor, which I am assured is not causing the slow down. However, the monitor tells me that my physical memory is running at about 73% used, even when I have no programs running. It's frustrating seeing the hard-disk light full on when I'm not actually doing anything. Have you an advice about what could be causing such a memory demand? My system is an Intel i-5 with 8GB of RAM using Windows10.
