If memory serves, I did a free upgrade from Win7 to Win10 shortly after it became available. I believe this was a download from the internet and I have a thumbdrive labeled Win10 that dates from that update. There was never any factory packaging and any e-mails for that install are too old to search for. The thumb drive does not have a license key in plain text that I can find.My motherboard recently died, and I replaced it, keeping the same CPU and hard drives. It boots and runs fine, including some third party licensed software. However, now I see messages that Windows is not activated. I at
