How does windows trigger the lockscreen.

I need to launch my screensaver manually but i also need the lockscreen to activate when i do. I have looked everywhere on google and while there are plenty on how to launch the screen saver they all just launch the screen saver file and thus do not lock the screen on resume. I have found the registry keys and specific logs but non of them tell me how i can launch the screensaver file with the parameters written i settings for example On resume launch lockscreen. But if i can find out what process is triggered after the inactive timeout i could replicate it and manually trigger it.
