I've been trying to resolve an activation issue with Microsoft for over a year.Here's what happened:- Bought a digital license of Windows 10 (Retail) in 2021 to install on a laptop which did not come with OEM windows.- Activated and used this license on this laptop until a hardware failure (laptop motherboard) later in the same year.- Tried to transfer the license to a different PC, but was unable to activate.- Removed the old (failed) device from my microsoft account in case that was causing the issue.- I did extract the product key from my old laptop, but this key doesn't work on my replacem
