Windows does not start. number of windows installations 0

My HP Laptop with windows 7 does not start. At first I thought it is a hardware issue because hardware analysis gave an error "Fuse blown 42". I got a new battery, error persisted. Found out that this is a common problem with my laptop and changing battery Management in the bios solved that problem. Now I do not get any hardware errors when running a hardware check. System still does not start.When I run bootrec/rebuildbcd I get the number of identified windows installations 0 error. I tried to restore the BCD but I get c:/boot not found. I can do bcdboot c:\windows /s c: and it claims it succ
