Unable do add a second alias

I want do add a second email address and then change my primary alias. However, the microsoft site wouldn'd allow me to do so. Neither trying to add a new email address, nor using an existing one works. The answer is always "This email address is already taken. Please try another."The information in "Change the email address or phone number for your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support" seems quite clear, but it just doesn't work.And at MS, there seem to work no people, just machines. Very frustrating :-(Anyone got an ideia what to do?Thanks,Peter
