I was attempting convert my BIOS to UEFI, which requires using the Shift + R command to boot to the advanced options screen and using the command prompt from there. When prompted for a password to access the command prompt, I enter the correct password, it says it is incorrect even though I confirmed it was the password for the microsoft account that I chose. The User profile is not corrupted in any way as far as I can tell, although I did recently change the main admin account and disable the previous admin account.
